Minor laborers are being called from Odisha to work in a concrete sleeper manufacturing company located in Lohta area of ​​Varanasi. The matter came to light on Monday when the children ran away and reached PDDU Junction. RPF at PDDU Junction, Bachpan Bachao Andolan Sanstha recovered the children and informed about it to Varanasi Police. Based on this, the Varanasi police is taking further action in the matter. And the minor children have been handed over to Bachpan Bachao Andolan Sanstha.

Inspector Sanjeev Kumar of Railway Protection Force along with the force was patrolling the station on Monday morning. Meanwhile, 21 laborers were seen in a panic condition on the footover bridge of the railway station. On asking the children, it was found that they have been working in a concrete sleeper manufacturing company located in Lohta, Varanasi for one year. His supervisor has not even paid the money for several months. He is threatening to go home. In such a situation, they have escaped from there after getting a chance. The minors told that they are all residents of Orissa Raigarh. Inspector Sanjeev Kumar took the children in his custody and informed the senior divisional security officer Jethin B Raj. Along with this, the Bachpan Bachao Andolan was informed. Following the instructions of the Senior Commandant, RPF and Bachpan Bachao Andolan’s Co-Ordinator Desh Raj Singh, Krishnaraj Sharma along with the Labor Department of Varanasi reached the concrete factory and verified it. Eleven minors and ten adults were found among the recovered children. All were handed over to Bachpan Bachao Andolan organization for further action.
