Milk trader Vikas Yadav (18) was beaten to death at around 7:30 pm on Tuesday late evening at Godian Tola of Nizampur under Tiwaripur police station area of ​​Gorakhpur district. Vikas was coming home from the crossroads with curd. 100 meters before the house, the miscreants surrounded Vikas and beat him to death with a rod. The reason for the incident is not clear. The SSP has formed teams to arrest the accused.

Vikas, son of Ishwarchand Yadav, a resident of Nizampur Godian Tola, used to do milk business with his father. He came home on Tuesday evening after distributing milk. At the behest of family members, he had gone to buy curd from the crossroads. While returning, 100 meters before the house, some youths surrounded him on some issue.

During the altercation, the youth attacked Vikas with a rod. Vikas fell on the ground due to serious head injury. Hearing the noise, the local people rushed him to the district hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

On the information of the incident, SSP Dr. Gaurav Grover reached the spot along with the police force. The SSP spoke to the local people as well as the family members. Police is trying to know the reason behind the incident. A team has been formed to identify and arrest the accused.
