As revealed by the NTA, 17 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile in the third session.

NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained. The NTA scores are normalised marks across multi-session papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the exam in one session.

The marks are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session.

The examination was conducted for the second time in 13 vernacular languages (English, Hindi, Gujarati along with Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).

Previously, it was decided that the JEE exam will now be conducted four times a year to provide more flexibility to students along with an increased chance to improve their scores.

The first phase was conducted in February followed by the second and third phase in March and July, the final phase will be held this month.
