Senior social worker Krishna Kumar Kaushik, resident of Mohalla Pateganj of the city, who was associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad for a long time in Kanth, Moradabad, died at the age of 68 due to prolonged illness. His death sent a wave of mourning among the townspeople. Since there was no man in the house, his younger sister performed the last rites by lighting the funeral pyre.

Krishna Kumar Kaushik’s son Devendra Dutt Kaushik was second among his three brothers and four sisters. His eldest brother Shiv Kumar Kaushik, younger brother Vijay
